Vine Removal at Broadneck Park

We’ll continue our vine removal from trees work at Broadneck Park.
Where: Broadneck Park (613 College Parkway Annapolis, MD) – The area of focus for this event will be to the right of the dog park. Park near the dog park or one of the playing field parking areas.
What: Removing English Ivy, Oriental Bittersweet and other invasive vines from Broadneck Park trees
Who: This is an Anne Arundel Weed Resistance (AAWR.org) Event. Other groups involved as available will be: – Broadneck Peninsula Invasive Vine Removal Volunteers; – SaveOurTreesTogther.org; and – CapeConservationCorps.org. All levels of volunteers are welcome from newbies/novices to experienced to experts. Newbies and novices will be taught to identify and remove invasive vines.
Considerations: Wear long sleeved shirts, pants (shorts are discouraged) and sturdy shoes/ boots. Bring water, sunblock and bug/tick spray, Tools will be provided, but bring your own if you prefer.
