Lot’s of fun activities are planned\, including an invasive pull with Save Our Trees\, Park Rangers and the Friends of Quiet Waters Park. Join us! \n\n\n\nFeatured events with experienced leaders\n\n\n\n9:00am—Bird Walk\n\n\n\nWalk through the forests\, meadows and shorelines of the park—looking and listening for a variety of birds\, including spring migrants. Bring binoculars if you have them. Registration required. \n\n\n\n10:00am—Invasive Species Pull\n\n\n\nJoin others in removing invasive vines in the park. Bring tools & glove if you have them. Meet at Blue Heron lot. \n\n\n\n11:00am—Woodland Walk\n\n\n\nWalk along paved trails through the forests of the park\, learning about native trees\, their history\, and the role they play in the Eastern Deciduous Forest Ecosystem. Registration required. \n\n\n\n1:00pm—Shinrin-Yoku~The Art of Forest Bathing\n\n\n\nEngage in a peaceful walk along the trails of the park to learn to engage the senses and appreciate the benefits of being immersed in a natural environment.
